David Bowie
Born David Jones in London 1947, but changed his name to David Bowie in 1965. As a performer and songwriter he introduced a steady flow of new creative concepts that made an enormous impact on 70s rock culture
From his breakthrough with the single ”Space Oddity” in 1969 to the role as glam rock icon Ziggy Stardust, to moving to Berlin and experimenting with electronic music in the late 70s, he constantly challenged himself and his audience in a style of his own.
