ABOUT US
Per Gessle and Björn Nordstrand took over as owners of Hotel Tylösand in the summer of 1995—an unexpected constellation between the businessman and the international pop star, who had just finished his second World Tour with Roxette.
The common thread between the two was their roots in Halmstad, and their love for Hotel Tylösand’s history and future. The new owners immediately started to make their mark with a constant flow of innovations that has given a very personal image to one of Sweden’s few remaining privately owned hotels.
Which means that Hotel Tylösand apart from a consistent effort to create a modern hotel environment with 230 rooms, is also Sweden’s largest art gallery exhibiting some of the world’s most interesting photographers on 23 000 sqm. And besides this, it’s also a conference establishment with 30 conference rooms and events all year long.
And with four innovative and top-class restaurant concepts, a prize-winning spa, a vibrant nightlife and a fully booked stage for live music, it’s not an overstatement to say that Hotel Tylösand offers experiences you’ll only find here.
All this with the widespread Tylösand beach just outside. And a smile—all year long. Welcome to our place. Be inspired.
